This section is about the plants you might want to grow. For each plant, there's a small photo of the flower, photos of the seeds, seedpod and seedling, and some information about the plant - whether it's an annual or perennial, how tall it is, and how long it takes for the seeds to germinate. Some seeds or other parts of a plant are poisonous. This usually means you'll be very ill if you eat the seeds or berries of the plant, but you should know that YOU SHOULD NEVER EAT ANY FRUIT OR BERRIES UNLESS A GROWN-UP GIVES THEM TO YOU AS FOOD. You can eat the fruit and seeds of many plants (nuts are seeds, for example), and sometimes you can eat the flowers, too, but you should always check with an adult before you eat anything you don't know.

If you click on one of the small flower photos, you can see a page with a bigger photograph and more details about the plant. Then click on the 'Back' button at the top of your computer screen to get back to the Database page.
