Argemone grandiflora

ARGEMONE grandiflora is a large prickly poppy with a muted colour-scheme. It grows to two or three feet high, with prickly stems and leaves, topped by very elegant white, papery poppy-type flowers, over 3" across, with brownish-orange stamens and a black blob in the centre.
